The staff has been wonderful, courteous, friendly and very helpful. We would definitely like to return on our next trip to New York.
Special commendation to your maid-room cleaning staff. They Tidy and cleaned our room and even folded items.
May I suggest, however that you instruct customers on how to turn down heaters or turn them off. In the interest of comfort and you’re utility bills , we should only use one appliance at a time.
Thanks for every thing you have all been great and made this trip a pleasure.

I just wanted to say how much we liked having the computer available to guests. We have been staying there for many years during the US Open. It gave us a chance to see the schedule ahead of time so we could make our plans for what matches we wanted to see. We always liked the rooms and the location so the computer is an added bonus. Hopefully it will be there to stay. We plan to be back again next year.

My 12 year old daughter & I had a very pleasant stay here. The staff was friendly, the continental breakfast had real bagels & not frozen Lenders. The tv & jacuzzi rocked. The rooms were clean & not beat up. The sheets were nice but the towels could have been larger & softer. I’ll have to take a steam room next time. The maps were helpful. I picked the hotel because of the close proximity to the trains, especially the LIRR. We would definitely come back.

I have had a wonderful stay here & will come back again on my next visit. the hotel is centrally located to my needs.

Really was a pleasure to stay here. Excellent alternative to the “bigbox” hotels (and prices) elsewhere in the area.
Everything is basic but adequate and the location is convenient for travel into the city and to LI destinations.

My sister and myself stayed at the Anchor Inn From 1/25/07 to 02/09/07. We were in NY because our father was ill. The staff was most accommodating when we needed to extend our stay and was sincerely concerned about how we were doing. Our father passed and they did whatever they could to help us.
The Hotel was clean and well kept, with a great complimentary breakfast, several choices and longer than normal hours. There was a state of the art gym available. The room had many amenities. Refrigerator, internet access, cable TV, Iron and Ironing Board, and hair dryer.
We recommend this establishment to anyone. We will stay there again when I go to NY to visit our family.
